Relay by ADW.
What Relay is
Relay is a macOS app (with an iPhone companion) built by Agency DevWorks. It reads the conversations you choose to connect, works out what needs your attention, and drafts replies in your own voice. It runs on your Mac: your messages and email stay on your devices and in your own private iCloud.
- An inbox of what needs you, ranked by priority, across Messages and email
- Drafted replies you review, edit and send yourself
- A daily brief of your promises, what you're waiting on, and your calendar
- An iPhone app that mirrors your Mac
Connecting Gmail
You can connect Gmail accounts through Google's own sign-in. Relay asks for exactly two permissions:
- Read your email (
gmail.readonly): to show mail from people you know in your Relay inbox and to look up email when you ask about it. - Send email on your behalf (
gmail.send): used only when you press Send on a reply you have reviewed. Relay never sends email by itself.
Relay cannot delete, archive, label or change your mail. Your Google sign-in is stored only in your Mac's Keychain, and you can disconnect at any time in Relay (Settings → Setup → Gmail) or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Privacy & terms
How Relay handles your data, including Google user data, is set out in the Relay Privacy Policy. Use of Relay is governed by our Terms of Service.
