Relay privacy.

Overview

This policy covers Relay, a macOS and iPhone app made by Agency DevWorks LLC ("we"). Relay runs on your own Mac. The data it reads is processed on your devices and in your own private iCloud; we do not run servers that receive your messages or email.

Google user data

What we access

If you connect a Gmail account, Relay requests the gmail.readonly and gmail.send scopes and nothing more. With them Relay reads messages in the accounts you connect and sends replies you have explicitly confirmed.

How we use it

• To show email from people you know as items in your Relay inbox (only if you turn this on for that account).
• To look up email when you ask Relay about it.
• To draft a reply for you to review; Relay sends it only when you press Send.

Relay never deletes, archives, labels or modifies your mail, and never sends email on its own.

How it is stored

Your Google sign-in (refresh token) is kept only in your Mac's Keychain. Email content Relay works with is stored on your Mac and, if you use the iPhone app, in your own private iCloud database. We (Agency DevWorks) do not receive or store your Google user data.

Sharing

To summarise or draft replies, Relay may send the relevant message text to the AI provider configured in Relay (for example OpenAI), solely to provide the feature you asked for. Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train generalised AI or machine-learning models, and not shared with anyone else except as required by law.

Limited Use

Relay's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deletion

Disconnect an account in Relay (Settings → Setup → Gmail): Relay deletes its sign-in from your Keychain and revokes its access at Google. You can also remove Relay at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting Relay's app data from your Mac removes any email it stored.

Other data on your Mac

With your permission Relay also reads Messages, Contacts, Calendar and Reminders on your Mac. The same rules apply: processed on your devices, sent only to the AI provider configured in Relay to perform the task you asked for, never sold.
